Tal was born in Herzliya (Israel) and was born there. Her father, Ami Tal, is a computer expert who is of Sephardic Jewish descent (Turkish–Jewish). His initial name was "Mizrahi". Ayala Sabat, born Sabat, is an attorney. She is Ashkenazi Jewish (Polish–Jewish). Both of her parents were born and were raised in Israel. When she was nine when her parents separated. When she was 9 the parents split up. There are two half-sisters who are from her father. She was a part of the Israel Defense Forces' military theatre. Following her military service, Tal began her career in an old videotape for children where she played portrayed as a witch who was evil. Following that she appeared in an advertisement for laundry detergent, and then was the main character in Lihiyot Kochav, an Israeli film. Tal was offered two roles in two Israeli TV shows while filming the film. She was able to accept both. One was Tzimerim (a soap show about a family that manages an hotel) The second one was HaPijamot ("The Pyjamas") which is a comedy about a band trying to succeed in real life. She was part of the initial three seasons, after which she was an actor in the guest role. This allowed her to show off her talents as a musician. She wasn't the main role in the initial three seasons. However she was in a few episodes of the fourth season.
