She is an American actress. The highest-paid actress in the world between 2019 and 2018 She has been featured numerous times on the Forbes Celebrity 100 list. Time magazine named her one the 100 most influential people worldwide in 2021. Her films have grossed more than $14.3 billion globally, making Johansson the highest-grossing movie box office star of all time. Johansson has been rewarded with numerous awards which include an Tony Award as well as an award from the British Academy Film Award. Johansson was also nominated for five Golden Globe Awards and two Academy Awards. Her film debut was in the fantasy film North (1994) and received early recognition for her performances in Manny & Lo (1996), The Horse Whisperer (1998) and Ghost World (2001). Johansson moved into adult roles in 2003 thanks to her roles in Lost in Translation, which won her the BAFTA Award for Best Actress and Girl with a Pearl Earring. Both films were nominated to the Golden Globe Awards.
