Natalie Portman

 Natalie Portman (born Natalie Hershlag,Hebrew:June 9 1981) is an Israeli-born American actress. From her early teens, she has had a successful film career. She has appeared in numerous blockbusters and independent movies and has received numerous awards like the Academy Award and two Golden Globe Awards. While in high school she starred in The Diary of a Young Girl on Broadway in 1998. Also, she was recognized for her role as Padme Amidala (Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace) (1999). She was a student at Harvard University from 1999 to 2003, graduating with a bachelor's in psychology. She slowed down her acting roles, but she continued to perform in the Star Wars prequel trilogy (2002, 2005) as well as in the Public Theater's 2001 production of Anton Chekhov's play The Seagull.In 2004 Portman was nominated to win the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress and was awarded the Golden Globe Award for playing an unsettling stripper in the romantic drama Closer. Her career grew further through her roles as Evey in V for Vendetta (2006) and Anne Boleyn (2008) and as a troubled ballet dancer in Black Swan (2010). She won the Academy Award for Best Actress. After starring in No Strings Attached (2011) and portrayed Jacqueline Kennedy as Jackie (2016). The role earned her an additional Academy Award nomination. Portman was also in the role of Jane Foster in the Marvel Cinematic Universe superhero films Thor: The Dark World (2013) and Thor: Love and Thunder (222). This made her one of the highest-paid actresses worldwide. The actress was also nominated for an Oscar Award. She is vocal about the politics of the United States and Israel, and is an advocate for environmental and animal rights issues. Benjamin Millepied is her dancer husband and choreographer. They have two kids with Benjamin Millepied.
