Mossimo Giannulli

 Giannulli was born Massimo Giannulli on June 4, 1963 in Los Angeles to parents of Italian descent, Gene, an architect as well as Nancy Giannulli, a homemaker. Giannulli was raised in Encino, California. 3rd grade when he was in the first grade, he changed his name to Mossimo at the suggestion by a teacher who suggested it was easier to pronounce.According to certain sources, following his graduation from high school, he studied business and architecture at the University of Southern California for three years before being dismissed in 1987. in the wake of the college entrance scandal which Giannulli was involved, however, CNN reported that Giannulli convinced his father to loan the money to pay for tuition (which he used to fund his business selling t-shirts) and faked report cards while his actual experience at the university consisting of being a student at "USC in the spring semester of 1984 but not as a fully matriculated student. He was in the College of Continuing Education, an institution that was accessible to all students "with no formal admissions conditions". However, he was able to live within the Beta Theta Pi fraternity home, which, according to a fraternity spokesman is because it was not uncommon for non-matriculating students to join with the fraternity.
