Jason Statham

 Jason Statham, /'steIth@m/ was born 26 July 1967. He is an actor from England. He is famous for his portrayals of characters in various action-thriller films which are often tough, hardboiled, gritty, or violent.Statham began to practice Chinese martial arts, kickboxing and karate for fun in his youth when he worked at the local market stand-ups. An avid diver and footballer and diver, he was part of Britain's national diving team and competed in the national team of England during the 1990 Commonwealth Games. Soon after being asked to model for French Connection, Tommy Hilfiger, and Levi's in various advertisements. He was a market stall keeper and was cast in Guy Ritchie's crime film Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (1998) and Snatch ((2000). These films became commercially successful and Statham became Frank Martin in the Transporter Trilogy (2002-2008). After his roles in a number of action-thriller and heist movies such as The Italian Job (2003), Crank (2006), War (2007), The Bank Job (2008), The Mechanic (2011), Spy (2015), and Mechanic: Resurrection (2016), he established himself as an established Hollywood leading actor. He also been in movies that were critically and commercially unsuccessful and commercially unsuccessful, such as Revolver (2006), Chaos (2005) and In the Name of the King (2008). He appeared in the ensemble action series The Expendables (2010), Furious 7 (2015) and The Fate of the Furious (2017), Wild Card (2013) and F9 (2021). In the latter, he has played Deckard Shaw in Fast & Furious 6 (2013), Furious 7 (2015), The Fate of the Furious (2017), F9 (2021) and the spin-off Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw (2019). His first film credit came as a co-producer of Hobbs & Shaw.
