Chris Evans (actor)

 American actor Christopher Robert Evans was born 13 June 1981 in the United States. His career began by appearing in TV shows like Opposite Sex in the year 2000. After appearances in various teens' films which included 2001's Not Another Teen Movie, Evans gained notoriety for his portrayal as the Marvel Comics character the Human Torch in Fantastic Four (2005) and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans was also in film adaptations of comic books and graphic novels such as TMNT (2007) and Scott Pilgrim vs. The World (2010). Evans received more attention for his role as Steve Rogers / Captain America in various Marvel Cinematic Universe films, including Captain America: The First Avenger (2011) and Avengers: Endgame (2018). Evans' performance in the series earned him the title of one of the highest-paid actors around the globe. He also starred in the drama Gifted (2017) and the mystery film Knives Out (2019). In 2014 Evans directed the romantic drama Before we Go. The film also wrote the film and was a part of it. Evans made his Broadway debut in the 2018 revival of Kenneth Lonergan's play Lobby Hero, which earned Evans a Drama League Award nomination.
