Beverly D'Angelo

 D'Angelo was born in Columbus, Ohio, the daughter of Priscilla Ruth (nee Smith), a violinist and Eugene Constantino "Gene" D'Angelo as a bassist and station manager for WBNS-TV in Columbus. [2The father of her was Italian. Her paternal grandparents Eugenio and Rosina D'Angelo came of the region of Introdacqua located in the Abruzzo region of Italy. [4] There are three brothers: Jeff, Tim and Tony. Five years ago, Howard Dwight Smith was their maternal grandfather and an architect. He designed Ohio Stadium, also known as "The Horseshoe" at Ohio State University. D'Angelo was a student at Upper Arlington High School in Upper Arlington, Ohio, located in the northwest Columbus suburb. She was awarded the Upper Arlington Alumni Association (UAAA), Distinguished Alumnus award in 2009 for her achievements in her career. [citation needed] D'Angelo worked as an illustrator for Hanna-Barbera Studios and as a singer prior to pursuing an passion for acting. When she was living in Canada, she was an American-born backup singer in rockabilly singer Rompin' Ronnie Hawkins' group The Hawks. After going out on their own they became The Band, a group that is considered legendary. [8][9]
