Alodia began cosplay after meeting other video game and anime fans on an online fan-based forum known as Anime Club. She began cosplaying at age 15 and began participating in contests in Metro Manila. [5] She cosplayed her first character as a Priestess of Ragnarok Online in Glorietta. Six years ago, she began to attract attention when she took 3rd place at the 2003 C3 Convention as Gun Mage Rikku of Final Fantasy X-2. She along with her younger sister Ashley Gosiengfiao were featured on the cover for Issue 14 of Culture Crash Magazine in the Philippines. She is a multi-awarded cosplayer and is invited to appear at conventions, as well as judge contests in the local and international arenas. She began judging when she was 18 years old.
